Former Charles Schwab CEO Keynotes 2023 WIBN National Social

TULSA, OK - The Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN) hosted their 2023 National Social on Saturday at the Cox Business Convention Center alongside the NCAA Division I Men's Wrestling Championships. Territory Resources, Emmaus Energy, and Wrestling Mindset served as the presenting sponsors for this year's event.

Former Charles Schwab CEO David Pottrock headlined the event and participated in a “fireside” chat emceed by Joe Savino, an NWCA Executive Board Member and former Managing Partner of one of Northwestern Mutual’s largest network offices int he country.

Around 600 attendees were captivated by Dave's anecdotes from his tenure at Charles Schwab and inspired by his determination during the challenging period following the dot com bubble in the early 2000s. Dave attributed much of his perseverance to his days wrestling for the University of Pennsylvania.

"We are grateful to these exceptional business leaders for sharing their leadership principles derived from their experiences on the wrestling mat," expressed WIBN Executive Director Mike Moyer. "Our audience gained valuable insights into leadership, and it was a fantastic experience."

Details regarding next year's event at the Division I Championships in Kansas City, MO, will be announced next fall.
